Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse Clinic

The Rampage Lacrosse club had a big lacrosse filled weekend! After a bus trip to the Saturday Rush game, where members of our club helped sell the 50/50 tickets, we hosted a lacrosse camp on Sunday at FW Arena. Two players from the NLL Saskatchewan Rush team were here in Swift to teach our kids more about this sport.

#42 Mark Matthews - Forward

#79 Nik Bilic - Defense

Mark hails from Oshawa, ON. Played for the University of Denver before being drafted to the Edmonton Rush in the first round in 2012 where he also was named Rookie of the Year. He also earned the MVP of the championships after the Rush won the cup in 2015.

Nik is originally from Burnaby, BC but now resides in Saskatoon where is is employed as an Electrician as his "day job"! He is a strong defense man and currently leads the Rush in penalty minutes. He has played 5 years in the NLL. He was traded from Minnesota to Edmonton in 2013.

This was a great opportunity for our club and the instruction from these professionals was fantastic! They taught age groups of Novice, Pee Wee and Bantam players. Additionally, we had a "Fun Hour" with some of our Tyke and Mini Tyke kids! A lot of skill building and fun was had by all who attended.
